Trevor Torseth
Actor
Biography
Trevor Torseth, was born in Fort Frances, a hinterland on the border between Ontario and Minnesota - a very large stone's throw into Canada. Adolescence, a hearty appetite and a bricklayer's frame brought him to the Minnesota gridiron; however, he soon gave up football for the stage after being cast as "Archie Lee" in Tennessee Williams' The Long Stay Cut Short. A casting decision that would foretell future success with Williams. After earning his degree from Prestigious St. Cloud State University, he was cast in the Minneapolis production of a Tony 'n Tina's Wedding. This success along with the requisite restlessness born out of a Midwestern thespian's existence, brought Torseth to Los Angeles. In L.A. he bounced around the usual haunts of Hollywood drudgery until his bruising, fearless, and absurdly comic portrayal of "Jake" in Williams' 27 Wagons Full of Cotton. Torseth established his persona as an aching bull of a performer as he devoured every scene in Tennessee's searing one-act. He went onto play heavies in films such as Trail of Blood, NoNames, and Lake Dead, as well as pointed guest stars on television in NCIS, American Horror Story, Chuck, Ringer and most notably as the tortured homeless vet Ron Hacker in the ensemble series LOOK. With Lifeboat Productions upcoming series release of Sequestered he looks to cement his place playing a Navy Seal. Trevor Torseth, the actor, the musician and the man, is many things: a raging beast, a Viking Lorax, and the owner of every room he's ever been in.
