Ellen’s Farewell Season Kicks Off with Jimmy Kimmel and Nurses from New Orleans (2021)
Today’s the day you’ve been waiting for - Ellen’s Farewell Season begins! What better way to celebrate than with her friend and fellow talk show host, JIMMY KIMMEL! The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host will be here to help kick off Season 19 and even has a major surprise gift for Ellen! Then, Ellen welcomes four NICU nurses from New Orleans’ Ochsner Baptist Hospital. They are part of a 65 person team who volunteer to stay at the hospital through emergencies and bravely did so recently as Hurricane Ida hit the city. They’ll talk to Ellen about how many parents of NICU babies were asked to evacuate and shared why they stayed with the newborns at the hospital as the storm passed through. Plus, incredible surprises and memorable cameos you don’t want to miss.

The hard-working entrepreneur, reality TV star, and dedicated mom sits down with Ellen to talk about her kids, famous siblings, and the newest products from her successful shapewear line, Skims. Ellen will also welcome high school volleyball coach Inoke Tonga from Denver, Colorado. He’ll talk about how he was confronted by school staff about his sexuality just before his second year as coach and asked to delete any LGBTQ+ related posts.
