Superman and the Mole Men
The 1951 Theatrical Feature, later to be televised as the 2-part episode "The Unknown People". Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the world's deepest oilwell in Silsby, when strange humanoid creatures appear and terrorize the townspeople. Convinced the mole men are peaceful beings, Superman must save them from a vengeful mob determined to kill the armed visitors.
