Caroline and Catherine are 32-year-old, mirror image twins who have grown apart, physically and emotionally, throughout the years and wanted extreme makeovers to bring them back together. Caroline, a dog groomer and mother from Carson City, Nevada, had rhinoplasty, a chin implant, lower eye lift, tummy tuck, breast implants, liposuction on the thighs and extensive dental work, including 12 upper porcelain veneers, aesthetic lip surgery, gum recontouring and two root canals. Her identical twin sister, Catherine, a hair stylist and mother from San Jose, California, had a tummy tuck, breast augmentation and dental work, including 8 upper veneers, teeth whitening, gum recontouring and orthodontics on the lower teeth. Dan, a 40-year-old radio producer and father from Seattle, Washington, wanted an extreme makeover to improve his self-esteem and catch the eye of a co-worker he's had a crush on. Jennifer & Peggy (2003)
After two decades on the job, Peggy, a 48-year-old crime scene investigation detective from Colorado, wants to look 20 years younger at her upcoming work anniversary party. She is transformed from looking dead tired to drop dead gorgeous. Peggy had a pre-hairline brow lift, face and neck lift, fat injections in the face, upper and lower eye lift, Lasik surgery, chin and jowl implants, as well as 20 porcelain veneers. Jennifer, a 25-year-old single mother from Newtown, Pennsylvania, wanted to have an extreme makeover to erase the years of tears and embarrassment about her nose and scarred face. All her life she has worried about her ""ugly"" looks. Well, her stunning new looks could stop traffic. Jennifer had rhinoplasty, an upper eye lift, correction of the upper right eye, fat injections in the lip and extensive dental work, including 6 upper porcelain veneers, 7 root canals, 7 crowns, cosmetic gum surgery, 12 fillings and Zoom whitening.
Lori & Peter (2003)
All of her life, Lori, a 37-year-old devoted mother from New York, has been taunted as the town ""witch"" because of her pointy nose. Her family has also suffered, as her children have had fights with other children because of their mother. As a result, Lori has worn disguises in public to hide her face, and has avoided school activities. Lori wanted an extreme makeover to transform herself from ""witchy"" into ""bewitching."" She had a rhinoplasty, lower eye lift, browlift, chin implant, fat injections to the face and breast augmentation. Peter, a 25-year-old fast-food manager from Arlington, Virginia, thinks he looks like a vampire because of his fanglike teeth. He feels his looks have attributed to his solitary life, his stalled career and his shyness. Peter wanted to have an extreme makeover to break out of his shell and bring out his inner rock star. He had a rhinoplasty, chin implant, supplemental liposuction and extensive dental work, such as porcelain veneers and Zoom whitening.
Dana & Jackie (2003)
A resident of Miami, Florida, Dana has always felt out of place in South Beach's world of hard bodies and pretty faces. As an audio engineer, she wants to feel more confident around the beautiful people she works with in the recording industry. Dana had a rhinoplasty, browlift, upper and lower eyelid lift, correction of droopy eyelid (ptosis), correction of downward slanting eyelids (anti-mongoloid obliquity), chin augmentation, cheek implants, breast augmentation and abdominal liposuction. Jackie, a 48-year-old homemaker from Lebanon, Ohio, wants to stop being mistaken for her husband's mother. Jackie's husband, 39-year-old airline pilot Ron, loves the way she is, but Jackie wants to turn back beauty's clock. Paula, a 43-year-old dedicated mother and part-time aerobics instructor from San Angelo, Texas, has worked hard to make everyone else happy. Finally she has decided to do something for herself -- go back to college after 20 years as a stay-at-home mom -- and she's earned it! Paula is made over into a self-confident and beautiful coed through rhinoplasty, upper and lower eyelid lift, breast augmentation, lipo of upper and lower abdomen, lipo of inner and outer thighs, Lasik eye surgery and Zoom whitening on her teeth.
