Becky and Stacy are sisters who were born with the birth defect of a cleft palate. After nearly 40 surgeries to correct the deformity, the sisters basically gave up and accepted that they would forever look the way they did; that is, until they placed their dreams to be normal in the skilled hands of the doctors of last resort: the Extreme Makeover team. Stacy, a 29-year-old homemaker and mother from Palo Cedro, CA, had rhinoplasty, liposuction under neck, inner and outer thighs, upper eyelid lift, breast augmentation and lift, scar revision on right hip, lip reconstruction, chemical peel and dental work, including four da Vinci porcelain veneers, Galaxy partial dentures and Zoom whitening. Tim & Sam (2004)

After years of torture from classmates, Tim , a 30-year-old assembler for Siemens Energy and father of two from Kenton, Ohio, wanted a new look to match his improved self-esteem. He gets an Extreme Makeover; not just a total body makeover, but a reverse vasectomy, to enable him to give his wife the baby she desperately wants. Tim has septo-rhinoplasty, buccal fat pad excision, fat injections to face, upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), browpexy (brow lift), liposuction of submental chest, abdomen and hip rolls, a vasectomy reversal, LASIK eye surgery, and dental work, including Zoom whitening and 21 da Vinci porcelain veneers. Meanwhile, we watch as another man, Sam gets a mini-makeover and a walk-on role on General Hospital.

David & Amy (2004)

On this episode, David, a musician, gets help attaining his dreams of stardom from Tom Keifer of the '80s band ""Cinderella""; experts help Amy, a woman who has severe acne, to regain her beauty and self-esteem. David, a 36-year-old special education teacher for severely handicapped children from Highland, CA, always had a dream of becoming a rock star. With the help of his music idol, Tom Keifer from the '80s rock band Cinderella, David turns out rock hard and rocking. Not only did Tom surprise David with a meeting, but he also collaborated with David on a song written for his wife, Melissa. David had upper and lower eyelid lift, rhinoplasty, chin implant, neck sculpting, liposuction under chin and abdomen, removal of fat from lower eyes, mole removal, LASIK eye surgery, one porcelain crown, 15 porcelain veneers, tissue re-contouring of his lower gums and Zoom whitening. Lina & Jeanene (2004)

On this episode of Extreme Makeover, Jeanene, a tattooed factory worker, is transformed from goth to glam, while Lina, a recent college graduate who looks older than she is, gets a new look. Jeanene is a 31-year-old punk rock factory worker from Louisville, KY who wishes to look less shocking. She has felt different all her life and receives the show's first extreme make-under to tone down her extreme goth look, 30 body piercings, tattoos and all. In addition, famed fashion designer Betsey Johnson surprises fan Jeanene with a dress especially designed for her reveal.
